Losing a pet or sadly deciding to euthanize your pet are often very painful and confusing situations.  We often feel that others can't understand what we are feeling. After all, to some, "it's only an animal." Therefore, we have assembled resources that we hope will help answer your questions and make some sense of what you are experiencing. We hope you will find information, and perhaps even some comfort or peace, that will assist you in this difficult process
Information to help you through pet loss and grief

YOUR WINGS WERE READY ... BUT MY HEART  WAS NOT
Forever in Our Hearts

HAYDEN
Picture
JUNE BUG
June Bud was a survivor from the Missouri 500 and a cancer survivor, which shows her strength. She lived  15 1/2 years and still very much loved.
Picture

JUstice

Justice was a sweet and loyal dog that will be greatly missed by his owner Scott. He will always be in our hearts.

Jayda Mae

Jayda was an unexpected surprise in my life. She was such a presence. She could be very anxious, but we worked really hard to help her ease anxiety after we rescued her. She was my best bud. She was her gramma's baby, and she was the most loving and loyal girl around. She loved going for walks and we even engineered a special leash so we could jog together. She changed my life. She was taken so young from lymphoma, I am so grateful for all the memories we shared and the joy she brought to our lives. Rest easy my sweet baby. Jayda Mae K. 7/12-11/19

Kirby

Ben -
There will never be another Kirby! He was unique and fun in every way. You and Alicia gave him a great home and lots of love. We are happy that we could support Pit Bull Rescue Central in honor of Kirby and in honor of you as a responsible, loving dog owner.
Love,
Chuck and Elly

Thumper

Thumper is greatly missed and lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know his sweet soul.

mack

Mister Mack was the April dog of the 2012 Happy Endings Calendar. We lost him in October 2016 to aggressive Hemangiosarcoma, and I laid by his side as our veterinarian eased him through transition and he began his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. I know he and Miss Lace (his predecessor) both are waiting patiently for me to join them at the Bridge. I grieve for both of my pittie-pals to this day, but my current companion, Mister Cloud has eased my pain and filled my heart with joy and love.

Boo Matsui

"You were the best dog that anybody could ask for. You came into our lives unexpectedly, and I deeply treasure every moment of the 15 yrs I had with you. You were the silliest dog at chasing squirrels, destroying cardboard boxes, and you were so smart that you could walk backwards on command. You loved people, and our family. I have such a deep hole in my heart with you not being here anymore. May you rest in peace Boo. From your loving father and family. -Ron and family"

Bear

My beautiful boy Bear .... I loved you the moment I saw your face and then you crawled into my lap and into my heart forever. And I fell in love with you....You were all heart and full of love and a lot of mischief. You reminded me how fabulous it is to be alive by your own exuberance for life. You reminded me that no one is a stranger and there is more than enough love and smiles to go around. And before your 4th birthday you were gone. Your kidneys were damaged and despite our best efforts to help you heal we lost you. And I miss you every moment of every day. I am so grateful to have known you...... Thank You Bear. Thank you NC State veterinary hospital. Thank you Trupanion. and thank g-d for Ollie. Bear I will never forget you. ♥️ Mommy & Daddy

Mr. Bo Deich

Mr. Bo, my BoBo Man, my dearest Baby Boy you left me far too soon. Although you just missed your 4th birthday, you live on as you and I work to educate and raise awareness about the dangers of leptospirosis. Run free, sweet boy, Mommy loves and misses you.
