Vision and Mission Statement

Breed Information

*”Pit Bull” is NOT a breed. It's a generic term often used to describe all dogs with similar traits and characteristics known to the public as "pit bulls." When we use the term “pit bull” here, it should be understood to encompass American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and mixes of those breeds.

Dog listings

PBRC is providing additional web exposure to Pit Bull type dogs that need homes. PBRC does not maintain a shelter and does not know the animal's temperament and is hereby absolved from any liability related to the adoption of the animal. PBRC is not involved in the decision process and gives no guarantees, expressed or implied, of the suitability of the animal to the adopter and/or his family.

Spay & Neuter
Assistance

Anyone who fills out a PBRC spay/neuter application can receive assistance, as long as the request fits within our guidelines and the applicant completes our process.  In most cases, PBRC will fund the lowest cost spay/neuter option available to the applicant.
