How to search for dogs
Use this national search option at  to find adoptable dogs according to location, gender, size or age. You can use one or all of the options. The more information you enter, the more specific the results will be.  Please contact individual or organization listed in the description of the dog listing for additional information or for an application for adoption. 
Saving Senior Dogs USA - a national senior dog awareness program. Their goal is to educate the public about the plight of homeless senior dogs all across the United States and the joys of adopting them. Senior dogs bring joy and devoted companionship to those lucky enough to share their lives with them. Yet sadly, many senior dogs end up homeless and end their lives alone in a shelter. You can change that and bring imagined meaning and love into your life.  They need your help!​

Listing a Dog

Individual Dog Listing
(NON Rescue OR SHELTER Affiliated)

  • Please fill out our Courtesy Dog Listing form.
  • You will be required to provide proof of spay / neuter which is a required upload in the form.
  • Please submit either a spay/neuter certificate or a letter from your veterinarian stating the dog has been altered. 

Multiple Dog Listing for RESCUE OR SHELTER organizations

  • If you are a rescue or shelter organization and want to list multiple dogs, please take a moment and fill in our Rescue Survey form.
  • Once the survey has been completed and approved you will be sent a link to submit dog(s) for listing.

Pit Bull Rescue Central provides a free application review service to rescue individuals, groups, and shelters to help facilitate the responsible placement of Pit Bulls.
The more information you provide, the easier it will be for the caretakers to evaluate your application. You must know the dog’s names and rescue contact information you are applying for. All the questions should be answered, and your email address must be correct in order for your application to be considered.
PBRC is not responsible for adoption decisions.
