Pitbull-l is dedicated to discussions related to any pit bull type dog, including American Pit Bull Terriers (APBTs), American Staffordshire Terriers (AmStaffs), Staffordshire Bull Terriers (SBTs) and mixes of these breeds. Pitbull-l is a high-volume, 500-participant, email list forum. Please expect to receive, and be prepared for, a substantial amount of mail. Subscriptions are free and open to anyone.
PITBULL-L IS NOT A PRO-FIGHTING LIST.
The list forum is a great place to meet pit bull people as well as learn about the breed and responsible ownership. Comprised of dog owners from all walks of life, participants share stories, training tips, pictures, anecdotes (anything!) involving these great dogs.
Pitbull-l is a forum where people can ask questions about pit bull dogs. The list facilitates an exchange of knowledge and personal experiences between pit bull fanciers and anyone looking for information.
We demand that participants respect the list's purpose and that list-posts remain polite and constructive.
We occasionally discuss pit-fighting, relative to the nature and genetic background of this wonderful breed, however, Pitbull-l subscribers do not participate, encourage or support, in any way, this illegal activity. Pro-gamedog advocates are not welcome on this list. If your interest in the breed is limited or oriented towards matching, gametesting, rolling, or any other form of dog-fighting, you will not find support on Pitbull-l.
