~ SHADOW ~

" We take her everywhere. Yesterday we went to the lake to play. She sat on the shore with Tom and took a nap. There were a few kids there who went up to her and petted her. She is so good with kids.

Shadow tried to take her water dish in the other room last night. I looked and there she was with a bowl of water in her mouth taking it to her bedroom. She really is the best dog. "

The Howells adopted Shadow through Hug-A-Dog Rescue

Jaclyn wrote, "Thank you for everything, and mostly for the opportunity to save the life of this great dog." Avery was adopted thanks to Mary Jane of Midwest Rescue.

Well, we did it! And when I say we, I mean all of you [members of Pitbull-l] helped by providing excellent advice and insight. Yesterday we adopted an 8-mo old male Pit Bull and our other PB, Bailey, loves him! We took Bailey to the shelter so they could meet before we made a final decision, and they hit it off right away.

We let our daughter (10 yrs) name him and she picked Barnum (we call him Barney). She said that now we have Barnum and Bailey because having two Pit Bulls really is a circus. They played until we were all exhausted!
