Fancy is a love bug...
Texas

Fancy is such a sweet dog! She appears to be boxer/pit mix. She loves to be around people, sleeps in your lap, gets goofy, does somersaults on the couch and really wants to play. She does have a TON of energy, so she needs to play a lot. She needs to be socialized a bit more - training with other dogs and boundaries would be really helpful. She'll make a great companion and a wonderful guard dog.   more

Cowboy is a very cool dude...
Texas
Cowboy is one very handsome and very cool dude. He a 2 year old Pittie and earned the
ranks of the longest resident at LaPorte this year. Cowboy had been at the LaPorte shelter
for MONTHS. Last week, I asked the ACOs if they could only save one dog, the answer was a resounding "COWBOY!". How can you refuse a boy with a glowing recommendation like that? He will talk to you as well when you ask him to talk and is happy to give kisses on command. To sum it up, Cowboy is a stud, as everyone will see as they meet him!  more

Gemma LOVES everyone...
Michigan
Gemma is a fun girl. Her foster Mom believes she would be great at agility - just loves to do stuff. She likes to be on the go whether it's a car ride, a walk or run, or just playing ball. Gemma is also very content just to hang out next to her person with her nylabone or sit and cuddle. Being scratched and having her ears played with, which are so soft, isn't so bad either. She loves to have people around, absolutely LOVES everyone and great with kids too!   more

Nina is a bright bully girl...
Michigan
Nina, and her brother Nino, came to us after a police raid left them homeless. While Nino has been adopted, Nina is still looking for her forever home. She raised with kids and while Nina isn't as comfortable with other dogs as her brother, we think she will do ok with an appropriately matched house partner. This girl is an absolute sweetheart who just wants to love you! She is a bright bully girl - full of muscle and energy. She adores her foster brother, Russo, and loves to be around people.   more

Russo aims to please...
Michigan
Russo (pronounced Roo-So) is a nice guy, who has been through the wringer. He has done extremely well with our volunteers working on his manners and he definitely aims to please his people... but he will still do best with someone with Bully Experience because he can still be a bit stubborn. He does well with most other dogs, is great in his crate, LOVES to play, and loves to cuddle. He is a volunteer favorite, and he will make the right someone a great dog!   more

Amy loves to go for walks...
Michigan
Amy is one of 7 puppies that were found in the basement of a home. She is pretty mild mannered and loves to relax but still has little bouts of energy. She doesn’t mind going on car rides, just sits in the back seat and hangs out, sometimes even falling asleep. She’s good on a leash and loves to go for walks. On a walk, just after a recent snowfall, she just loved plowing through the snow even though it was almost as high as her! For the most part she stays by your side but has her moments where she wants to run. She does very well in her crate and will sleep silently all night in it, if needed. Of all the cute things she does, my favorite is when she crawls up on the couch to cuddle, laying her head on your lap until she falls asleep. more

Peanut loves to play...
Texas
Meet very handsome Peanut! Peanut is an approximately 3-year-old reddish brown and
white pit bull who has a very outgoing and friendly personality. Peanut is a very loving, very friendly, and playful boy. He is house and crate trained, and his fosters are working with him daily on his manners around other people, other dogs, and while on walks. Peanut is energetic and loves to play, but he also likes to relax at your feet and get a scratching or belly rub. He has shown zero aggression towards his two four-legged canine foster siblings, no food aggression, and no aggression towards his foster parents’ human friends (although we have no idea how he would react around cats). more
