Daisy is fun to be around...
Georgia
Daisy's a 6 year old, black and white female Staffordshire Terrier mix. She recently lost her foster home and is living in a boarding kennel. She doesn't understand why she hasn't been adopted like all the other rescue dogs. This sweet girl weighs 50 lbs and has a very sleek build with gorgeous markings. She has a lot of love to give, is affectionate, loyal and just needs a chance. Daisy does best with males dogs that are her size or bigger. She's crate-trained and housebroken. more

Meet Lugnut...
Oklahoma
Brought to the shelter because he was not trained. Hmm, didn't come with an instruction manual? He is a gorgeous, blue fawn color. He has an adorable personality, loves everyone and wants to play. We are working on his training. He is very smart and a quick learner, he just needs to know the rules of the game. He is housetrained, neutered, all his shots and heartworm negative. more

Miracle puppy, Lainey...
Maryland
We received a phone call on a very cold day from a woman who said that a puppy had wandered up to her house. By the time that we were able to get her into our shelter, she was in bad shape. She was icy cold with a body temperature of only 91 degrees. She was starving, dehydrated and suffering from hypothermia! We wrapped her in warm towels, gave her warm IV fluids and offered her some puppy food. She had quite a will to live as she dove right into the food, eating until we had to stop her! At the vet's office, she got a clean bill of health. Well, that is, once we got her temperature back up to a dog's normal 101 degrees! Lucky for Lainey, one of our foster mom's stepped forward to take her home and fatten her up! more

Brandi is everything a pittie should be...
California
Brandi came to the shelter in October. Her condition pointed to a life of neglect. After a month in a staff member's home, Brandi was transitioned into another foster home with lots of room to run around. She is now living with seven other dogs, four horses, a pig and some chickens. Brandi is everything a Pittie should be: energetic, fun, smart, bidable, responsive, interactive, sensitive but resilient. She learns quickly and listens well and is an all around a perfect dog. She is smart, beautiful and entertaining. If you are ready to give this amazing dog a permanent home she is sure to reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and dedication. more

Are you Otto's hero?
Pennsylvania
Otto has been a resident in a rural shelter since October of 2007. Otto adores everyone he meets. He has the typical "wiggle butt" Pittie-ality. Otto is about 3 years old and is just as handsome as could be. We worked with him for a short time and feel that he is a smart little boy. He learned sit, stay and leave it within one short session. He needs someone who will be consistent with him. Otto's clock is ticking. Could you be the hero he's been waiting for? more

Baby was discarded like trash...
Tennessee
A good samaritan found this precious little girl in a trash can. She took her to an animal clinic and called BBARK. I went to see her and fell in love immediately. She walked right up to me, laid her head in my hands and just leaned so deeply, I could almost hear her heart asking to be loved. As you can see, her little face and body hold her history of neglect and how hard life has been for her until now... more

Fall in love with Frosty...
Tennessee
Frosty is a beautiful dog and very sweet. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He gets so excited when we come in and wiggles his behind, it is so cute. We have some kids that help out and he has been great with them. All of our pits are. He rarely uses the bathroom in his kennel, he waits for someone to take him outside. He loves to play tug of war with Peewee who is in the kennel next to him. He is a great dog and he really needs a loving home. more
