Cash loves to play fetch...
Illinois
Cash is a year and half old male pit bull terrier. He came into Bombshell Bullies very underweight and weak. He was wandering around town for several weeks before anyone called animal control. When Cash came into rescue he had such a look of emptiness in his eyes. It was as though he had given up with life....something finally clicked in Cash and he became a dog again. He loves to have his belly rubbed and tries to get on your lap like he is a 10lb dog. His eyes are not empty anymore, they are filled with life. Cash is ready for a home of his own. more

Got love?
Oregon
Pacer's owner had to move and could no longer keep him. He is a fun guy who plays well with some dogs. He loves people. He seems to always be happy. Pacer is just your all around goof who's always on the lookout for someone to throw the ball. more

Boston is a waterbug...
Oregon
Boston is a very sweet girl who loves to play in the water and her favorite hobby is collecting bones to hide in her bed. She seems to play well with big dorky dogs who just don't seem to care about much. She also loves to play fetch. Boston came into our shelter on December 4, 2008. more

Ginger's a little dancer...
Texas
Meet sweet funny Ginger- this 1 year old red nosed pit mix loves, loves, loves to be petted. She sits sideways right at your feet. She’s good with dogs of all sizes and great with cats. This smart girl also knows her commands- sit, get in her bed, up and down the stairs, kiss and turn which means come back to you. She also knows when you stop walking- she stops. When you walk backward, she comes back to you. She has a circle turn happy dance to get out and get back in the house. If you’re looking for a dog that dances around you in circles- definitely meet our Ginger! more

Hello Mary Lou. Goodbye heart!...
Texas
Mary Lou's bad luck started when her owners decided to leave her alone outside on Galveston Island as Hurricane Ike was about hit….yes, all alone outside while one of the worst hurricanes of all time hit the tiny island she was living on….AMAZINGLY, this sweet girl survived, a true miracle and ended up at the Houston SPCA. The Houston SPCA does not adopt out pitbulls or pitbull mixes but made a very special exception and allowed Scout's Honor Rescue to take 9 very special, exceptional pitbulls and Mary Lou was one of them. more

Maggie loves everyone!
North Carolina
Maggie was rescued from a neighbor's yard where she had been tied to a tree at the back of their property for at least a month. She had been left with no food or water for days in 90 degree heat. Despite this awful situation, Maggie is full of love and energy. Maggie will make a wonderful, loving companion for someone!! She has been through a lot in the past few months, and a stable home life with a lot of love and attention would mean the world to this sweet, sweet girl. more

Ox is a sweet old guy...
Oregon
Ox is having a difficult time living at our shelter. Even though he is let out of his kennel three to four times a day to run freely in the 2 acre yard, he seems to be very depressed. Ox probably needs to be an only child, or he might be okay with a submissive female, and a good fenced yard is suggested. He is a very sweet guy who loves attention, he is kind and gentle with every human he has come in contact with. more

Tivoli survived torture and abuse...
Oregon
Tivi was found in June of last year. His body was severely burned. He spent 30 days at a local vet. He has made great progress. He loves people, soft blankets, his little alligator squeaky toy. He deserves a special home. He can only be in the sun for a limited amount of time because of his lack of hair he will sunburn. He can only go for short walks on soft ground because the pads of his feet were also burned and are very tender. We love him so much and he needs to go to a very special home. more

Hey there Delilah...
North Carolina
Delilah is a young genius that is ready to please you! After just five minutes of working with her for the first time, she began to learn sit, down - even shake & roll over! Delilah loves to play with dogs, so she would prefer an opposite sex playmate in her new home that doesn’t mind her activity level! Given her playful energy, she is surprisingly great with kids. We love her motivation for all things food, which will carry her far with a forever home that is willing to train her! With a little leash work around other dogs, she could be a doggie sports star. more

Make Starla smile...
North Carolina
Starla has been passed around from foster home to foster home, with her origins traced back to the Wake County shelter, from where she was originally pulled. The problem is most people who foster pit bulls are already pet lovers, and poor Miss Starla doesn’t like other animals, especially cats! She will get along with the occasional nonchalant dog her size that could care less about her presence, but other than that, she needs to be an only pet. If not for her disdain for other animals, Starla is a perfect companion. more

Sometimes 3 is better than 4...
Oklahoma
Out of all of the great Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes up for adoption, why should you choose Skip? Besides his sunny demeanor and cute face, he has fewer nails to trim! Skip is about a year old and is missing one of his front legs. If you are looking for a running partner, don't worry, Skip is still up for it! Skip runs faster than any of us, plays fetch and can climb fences. We are working on slow introductions to other dogs to determine whether or not he is dog friendly. more
