Nona the cutie...

What a cutie!!! This smiling sweetheart has many cute features, but nothing really beats the dimples when she smiles. Nona is a 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier that has only lived in one home. Lambie wants to be your little miss priss...

Lambie was found starving in the street, but quickly adapted to her new foster home. She has a buoyant personality, bonds easily with people, has cohabited with other dogs and a cat and would love to be a prissy house dog. She is a loyal companion who can easily amuse herself. She loves walks, but can get overly excited and needs to work on her social skills with other dogs on a leash. more

Prancer loves his belly rubs...

Prancer is an energetic young dog with a beautiful glossy tan coat. He's house-broken, neutered and up to date on all his shots. Only 13 months old, Prancer is still a puppy at heart, possibly because he hasn't had a family that let him "be the puppy". He loves his belly rubs and chew toys. He sleeps contentedly all night in his crate and also plays happily in it when I am at work. He's been working with a trainer, learning to sit (done!), heel, and stop on command. more

Trixie for kids!...

Trixie is a very, very special girl and the animal control officers were determined to save her. They said they hadn’t seen a sweeter or more deserving dog than Trixie... Trixie’s dad said she has been the best dog he’s ever had the pleasure of sharing his home with. She is extremely intelligent and learns things very quickly. Dogs just don’t come any sweeter or more loving than Trixie - she is very motherly towards puppies and small kids. more

Nacho the lap dog...

Nacho was rescued from the pond in front of his dad’s office building. He fell in the water, and due to the drop off couldn't get out and was drowning. The security guard tied him to the fence on a short rope, and emailed around asking if anyone wanted this puppy. His dad went out to check him out and he crawled over to me on his belly and rolled over – it was love at first sight... more

Melissa has a beautiful temperament...

Because she was pregnant and the shelter was over-crowded, sweet Melissa was scheduled to be put down, but one of the workers looked into her eyes and called us, instead. Melissa proved to be a wonderful mother with a beautiful temperament. Now that her "mom" duties are over, Melissa is ready for her forever home. She has beautiful inside manners, and her “good morning” all-over wag always makes us laugh. more

Boss is a senior gentleman who has lived his ENTIRE life chained AND penned. His owner finally decided after nine years of a life like this for Boss, that he deserved better and relinquished him to Eva with Santa Fe Humane Society. A LOT of people care about Boss's future and we just need someone willing to give him one with the years he has left!
