Chica loves lap time... Texas Chica is the sweetest dog you could imagine! She is the sweetest, most affectionate dog who loves lap time and belly rubs and she
has a face that is just adorable. She is around a year old and
weighs 30 - 35 pounds. She is dark brown to black with white on her chest and the tips of
her paws. She is good with other dogs, house trained, and will sit and come on command.
She does chase the cats and so a new home without cats would be ideal for this very sweet
girl. She is spayed, microchipped and utd on shots so she is fully vetted and ready to be
adopted into a loving family. more

Bella is a sweet senior who loves attention... Michigan Bella is a 53 lb. PIt Bull mix--possibly part German Shepherd and/or Rhodesian Ridgeback. Bella loves attention--she would be happy if she just had a permanent home where she got petted and got to play an occasional game of fetch. Bella is a loveable dog that would do very well in a household with no other dogs, or with a submissive male dog. Bella is current on vetwork and already spayed. more

Dalton is a perfect gentleman... Michigan Dalton is a big ham and we just can't figure out why he's still with us. This boy is one of the most handsome of the bunch - our pictures just don't do him justice. He is a beautiful chocolate red male who has some of the most stunning physical definition we've ever seen. He's a good boy in his crate and loves car rides and playing chase games with his brothers and sisters. He is a perfect gentleman at the adoption showcases. Definitely a high energy boy, He would probably do well paired with a submissive female or as an only dog.
As far as people go, he loves everybody--he'll bounce up to your eye level just to show you! . more

Dottie's grin will melt your heart... California Dottie is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier (mix); Age: 6 years old; Size: Medium
If Dottie's irresistible grin doesn't melt your heart, her outgoing personality will! She is a sweetheart who has been waiting much too long for a home of her own. She's been spayed, is housebroken and crate trained, and is up to date on vaccinations and licensed. At 6 years young, she is mellow enough to be pleasant to be around and in great health with many years to go (think 10 years more on average). She loves people and has demonstrated friendliness towards male dogs. Cats are alien to her so she wouldn't be the best companion for a cat. Dottie would be good protection WITHOUT having to worry about aggressiveness because she's just a NICE, NICE girl. more

Angel is very laid back... Michigan Angel is one of those rare pit bulls - she really isn't that energetic of a dog - generally being very laid back and low key.
When she's around people she is very content to lie quietly chewing on her rawhide and never gets into mischief as long as she isn't locked up. I think she would make a great house dog and I think she may be good with little kids. She is not a jumper or a bulldozer (unlike some of our more energetic dogs) and does not demand a lot of petting or attention. She just likes to be around people.
*********
SINCE SHE IS DEAF, WE NEED A HOME EXPERIENCED WITH BULLIES AND DEAF DOGS!
Angel has been evaluated by one of Michigan's experts who specializes in training deaf dogs and has extensive experience with deaf bullies.more

Stacia likes to play fetch... Massachusetts Stacia is a beautiful, highly intelligent red-nose adult pit bull that just loves being with the family. Stacia is approx. 5 years old, 50 lbs. and is quite agile considering she has been known to jump a fence to come see what we’re doing! Yes, Stacia is a loveable girl that will just want to be with you. We consider Stacia a young 5 year old and for most that know the breed, 5 is quite young.
Stacia likes to play fetch and will hang out in the yard as long as you’re with her. She also gets along with some male dogs, and does well with older children. Stacia is just so smart, that we feel she needs a home with a parent that has breed experience. Though, Stacia’s favorite past time is to sit with us and watch TV. She is a wonderful companion dog that has so much unconditional love to offer. more

Her foster mom says she loves the company of people and is a very happy go lucky girl as her tail is always wagging! Lola has been living with another foster dog who is her best buddy (Clifford), however she is the alpha dog in the house. She is good with children, loves to go outside and play in the yard, enjoys walks and going on car rides. Lola also thinks she is a lap dog when she is content to snuggle up with you and lay by your side. She has many of the traits of her breed as she is loyal, smart, and can be stubborn. Lola will require a home without cats or small animals and a fenced yard. We think she is very special and you will too! more

She comes with a lifetime of free training for her and her family.

Loggy the Log likes belly rubs... California Loggy is a young, exuberant, lovely and fun chunky monkey. His name is the result of his foster mom's humor, his big head and thick bones. Loggy is looking for a responsible owner who will continue to work with in a positive way and commit to him for a lifetime. This big boned boy likes to lay on his back for a belly rub and definitely enjoys human interaction and meeting new people on his walks. Loggy is crated inside at night without issues, understands baby gate boundaries and is respectful of the others dogs (separated by gates). more

Stella wants to be your snuggle buddy ... Washington Hello, I'm Stella! I'm equal parts exercise partner and snuggle buddy. Do you need someone to help motivate you to get out for your daily walk? Does your couch currently have a vacancy sign? Excellent, sounds like I'm the perfect fit! I'm a great leash walker and love to meet new people, both on walks and at the house. Maybe you're looking for a dog who's already mastered the obedience basics, plus knows some cute tricks. Guess what - you've found me! I already know 'sit', 'down', 'off', 'leave it' and most importantly 'Let's Go!'. Just for fun, I also know 'spin' and 'catch'; I love when you toss me treats to catch. I'm also learning to do agility - be sure to check out my video! more

Daphne is a smart, active girl... Washington Hello! My name is Daphne and I am part CuddleBug. I love to lay on laps, get my belly rubbed, and re-pay the favor in kisses! It's true - people are my weakness! There are a lot of misconceptions about my breed, but I'm here to tell you that I am as loyal and loving to people as any Lab or Retriever. As much as I give love and want to be loved, I am also an active girl - can't keep this beautiful body up by sitting on the couch all day! My favorite game is fetch. Give me a patch of grass, toss a ball for me to chase and I'm in heaven. I also keep in shape by chasing after stuffed squirrels on a stick - my flirt pole! After all, one never knows when the squirrels are going to rise up and take over the world. But what is beauty and fitness if you don't have the brains to match? I know how to sit, lay-down, drop toys, wait and more. more

Chocolate is a great jogging companion... Washington I'm Chocolate! I'm an exuberant one year old with a constantly wagging tail and a huge grin on my beautiful face. My eyes sparkle with glee because I love absolutely everybody I meet and everyone who meets me loves me right back. Since I'm so young I have lots of energy, and I'm strong too - my foster mom is currently helping me learn good manners at classes. I'm a superstar in class; just sayin'. I'm smart and enjoy learning tricks. My favorite so far is Crawl. Sometimes I crawl across the room just for fun. I'd be a great jogging and hiking companion and think fetch is a swell game! more
