Cocoa came to us through PBRC back in 2000! We drove from MN to IA to get her and it was worth the drive! She is member of our family and our 3 kids lover her! We really enjoy taking her with us to the Renaissaince Festival to show people what fabulous, sweet, loyal dogs Pitties can be! We will miss our loyal Cocoa when she is gone!

It was a cold, drizzly day in Detroit when Kooper came into my life. He was on the brink of death. Abandoned, starving, and cold...all he could do was wag his tail. I rescued him that day, and been inseparable ever since. He touched so many people's lives. Including his extended family, all his uncles, nieces and close friends. Kooper lost his battle with cancer this year, and by far the best dog I've ever owned. Trust me when I say this, he will be sorely missed. And, for everyone out there that say the pit bull breed is so bad please, don't knock 'em until you've owned one yourself!
R.I.P. my best friend, always!

Violet was left behind at a local park and I spotted her driving home one night from work. Scared but very friendly, she wiggled her way up in to my car and headed to my house until I found her a home. 2 months later, she had wiggled her way in to my heart. She loves her rescued brother and sister and has been a great addition to the family. I can not imagine a day without Violet and her nightly snuggles under the covers. I take every opportunity I can to educate people on this very misunderstood breed and how truly intelligent and loving they are. Thank you, Violet.

Bumpy was a loving, loyal guy, with a sweet face. He came into my life unexpectedly. And now my world is lonelier without him.

I was so fortunate to find out about PBRC. Of all the places to inform me about you was an animal hospital in Princeton ,N.J. I have attached my baby's photo and hope you and all who view it love it as much as I do. The dog's name is Bubba and I got him from a friend who's PitBull had 8 puppies. He has been everything to me actually he is my family and he gets preferential treatment always. He comes first, I take second place in this house. ha ha I will always support and Love PitBull dogs.

Mia was rescued from the Stratford, Connecticut, animal shelter in September, 1995. She is the light of my life. She is very old and now nearing the end of her life, but still with us. Hold a good thought for my sweet, smart, special girl.

My fur babies. I have never laughed so hard as I do when I'm laying around watching our Pitty's play. Best dogs ever with the most loyal loving personality. If you can't adopt a pitty, please volunteer at your local shelter.

This is our beautiful girl Sissy who we rescued at 6 weeks. She is the most awesome dog ever! We would have many more if we had the space. She is loving, smart, and we look foward to many years with her.
