Baby was a stray who hung around our house and watched us for three days. We tried to get her to come but she was too shy. Finally we coaxed her in with some bacos and sweet talk. She came up on the porch and never left. She has been wonderful with all our fosters and even helped mother a litter of half pound Papillion pups rescued with their scared mother from Dekalb shelter. The pups jumped on her, growled and bit her and she loved on them all. She is a rough girl when she plays so it was fascinating to see how gentle she was with the tiny creatures. We call Baby our big butt girl as she really "swings it" when she walks. She adores all people but guards our house with intensity. Of course when you open the door she will just lick you to death. We hope bad people do not know this, and I'm not telling. Thanks for helping these great dogs and getting Baby spayed for us. It sure helps out when you own five dogs. Baby says thanks too.

We rescued our little Jadie from an overly crowded shelter in Harlem. We were told that she was at risk and if we didn't take her home immediately, she would have been put down, as the shelter was in desperate need of more kennel space. She's been with us for almost a year now and we can't picture our lives without her. She's such an angel and we feel as if we're the luckiest dog owners in the world.

We only knew you for six days, and you were only healthy for one day, but we loved you so much. Watching you grow sicker and sicker, we knew we had to do the right thing. You were such a joy to be around and you brightened every aspect of our days. You were the most special puppy we have ever known and we will never forget you.

We rescued Bullet from animal control in October 2007, he was going to be euthanized that afternoon. At that time I had no idea what I was getting myself into! But words cannot beging to express how Bullet has changed our lives. As they say, he adopted us! We really cannot ask for a better dog, the most loving and affectionate dog ever. Getting Bullet has really changed my life. He came into it for a reason. I am now a big advocate for saving the pits! Thanks for all that you guys do and keep on doing the great work!

Jersey Girl was adopted from Pet Rescue of Mercer County in New Jersey. We had just lost our 13 year old Pit Bull named Sabrina, and was lucky enough to know Heather and Javier Cuervo who had fostered Jersey Girl. Jersey Girl is now another spoiled pit bull princess as they all should be!
